November 19, Wednesday General Meeting of the Fort Worth Sierra Club, 7 p.m.
Brief business meeting followed by speaker. Tom Hawk of Texas Air Systems will discuss the great energy and environmental savings available from the latest generation of Geothermal HVAC (Heating Ventilation and AC) systems. Location: Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, Moncrief Garden Center, 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard at University, north of I-30.

December 17, Wednesday General meeting of the Fort Worth Sierra Club, 7 p.m.
Holiday Party! We will not have a regular meeting with a speaker, but we will socialize with members. Please bring a snack or dessert to share. Drinks will be provided. Click on the names of the lists below to be taken to the subscription page for each list.   • LONESTAR-FTW-NEWS - this list will be sent out once or twice a month unless something urgent comes up.
  • LONESTAR-FTW-OUTINGS-NEWS - periodic lists of upcoming outings and notices about last-minute changes to outings schedule.
  • LONESTAR-FTW-CONS-FORUM - a discussion list for conservation issues, meant primarily for discussion of local and state issues. Please keep in mind that this is a discussion list and any subscriber can send a message. As a result this list may get a lot of emails, some of which may be off-topic.
